Yep. Slightly crazy, but I find great great value in allowing movement in the room - sitting on the floor, etc. With so many desks, that wasn't an option. I now have oodles of clipboards and there are 2 chairs at most desks. We'll see how it goes. But yesterday, we all felt a nice difference in the room. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I'm working on getting a new camera and I'll get some pictures posted for you. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">We started novels on Monday and I'm pretty darn excited! I love digging while reading and am working on remembering all the things I did before. For now, I am playing with the idea of having students focus on characters, settings, etc. in small groups and sharing with us as they go. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I had planned that Mondays and Wednesdays would be reading days. Tuesday and Thursday, writing. And Fridays grammar. But I think I'll do Monday, Wednesday, Friday writing and grammar. And Tuesday, Thursday reading.
